Performing music has been a life-long passion for CK!  She began playing piano and singing in choirs at age five and started playing flute at age nine.  She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Colorado State University with a post-graduate year of study in flute performance.  

She has remained an active performer, playing in community bands and orchestras, performing flute and vocal solos for church and private events, singing in church and community choirs and performing with classic rock/country rock bands.

CK provides: 

• flute and vocal solos for weddings, churches, inspirational gatherings, group meetings and self-help workshops
• sing-along shows for seniors
• adjudicator for student music competitions
• excellent sight-reading abilities on flute and piccolo
• performances with pick-up orchestras or small ensembles
• background easy-listening piano music and
  vocals for festive private events such as Christmas gatherings, wedding receptions and dinner parties.

• "Tulips" flute duo 
• piccolo/flute player (and occasional singer) in the "Cornucopia Band"
• leading sing-along shows at ElderHealth Connection
• singing lead vocals with classic rock band 
• flute, vocal and keyboard for churches   
  
  CK's plans include singing and playing keyboard/flute/guitar with a positive music group and playing flute in a classical ensemble.
